Title: "Trying to win the approval of man?" Mentor: Paul
Scripture: Galatians 1:10 "Am I now trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Observe: Paul was concluding a remark about the gospel and how people were perverting it. The gospel is not easy to hear, it is not man pleasing. Being a servant of Christ doesn't necessarily mean you will be pleasing people.
Application: I spend most of my day trying to win the approval of man :) Paul, this is hard to hear today. I need to understand the gospel and live it out so as not to try and please man but Jesus.
Prayer: Father God, I ask today that you empower me to live for your son Jesus and try to please Him and not man. May I know and experience the gospel in a new way today. In Jesus name, Amen
Title: SuperGod Scripture: Deut 10:17 "For the Lord you God is God of gods and Lord or lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accept no bribes.
Observe: "Wow" Moses says! God is great. He is unable to e shaken, big, bigger, biggest. The most high. He loves all His children the same. He is super, above all else. Again... He is equal to all.
Apply: I must never forget how SUPER BIG he is. His power and love super-seed ALL. God's love surrounds me. He can not be tricked or teased. He loves all his children - he is a great example of a loving father. Never showing favortism. His examples are priceless.
Prayer: Father God, teach me to have eyes only for you. Seeing your power, strength, love, and Grace.

Observe: Jesus was telling his disciples to tell the whole world about Jesus.
Apply: I could tell my brother and sister about Jesus.
Prayer: Dear God, help me to tell others about your God and help Ellie and Graham to learn about Jesus. In your name, Amen

Observe: God will come quickly and help me because he is my savior and he loves me.
Apply: If I need help od will come and help me and I will pray to him if I need help
Prayer: God, help me remember to pray to you if I ever need help. AMEN
