Scripture: Romans 8:11 "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you. 15 you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba,Father."
Observation: Paul is contrasting our sinful nature and the Spirit that lives in us. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living in us and that Spirit does not make us fearful but makes us cry out to God as our daddy "Abba" Father.
Application: I need to meditate on the fact that the power of God's Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is living in me. That Spirit does not make me fearful, it is there and can help me conquer fear. I have an intimate relationship with God that I can call him "Daddy".
Prayer: Jesus, help me today to meditate on your Spirit that lives in me. That Spirit allows me to conquer "the giants" of fear in my life. That same Spirit makes me cry out Abba Father. Holy Spirit give me your strength today to conquer fear, give me your perspective to call God my "Daddy".
SCRIPTURE: Mark 16:16 "Whoever believes and is baptize will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
OBSERVATION: If you believe that Jesus died for you will have life with him in heaven.
APPLY: I believe Jesus died on the cross for me.
PRAYER: God, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and everyone elses sins. Please help me to tell others about Jesus dying on the cross for our sins. AMEN

Title: Everything is Possible

Observation: Jesus is telling us if you believe God anything is possible.
Application: I don't have to be afraid of basement, piano recital, tkd seminar, sparring. If I believe Jesus, anything is possible.
Prayer: Dear God, Help me not to worry about these things but to believe in you.
