  1. Title: Proclaim Your Righteousness and Power
    Mentor: David

S: Psalm 71:15 (NLT) I will tell everyone about your righteousness. All day long I will proclaim your saving power, though I am not skilled with words.

O: David was saying that even though he was not articulate with words he could still tell people about God's ability to save him throughout the day. He said that anyone he made contact with during the day would be told of God's righteousness (perfection, holiness, being without sin). He always does what is right, what should be done, and that He does it consistently.

A: I need to realize from David that I have two responsibilities today. To tell of gods saving power and his perfection and not be worried with how articulate I am in doing so.

P: Jesus you are all together holy and pure. Even though you came with human skin on you never sinned. Your motives are pure. You sustain all creation by the power of your word. You are holy and powerful. Thank you for saving me, help me to tell others today. In Jesus name, amen

  2. Title: Jesus is My Fort
    Mentor: David

Scripture: Psalm 71:3 "Be my place of safety where I can always come. Give the command to save me, because you are my rock and my strong walled city.

Observe: David was saying that God was a safe place and protected him through danger.

Apply / Prayer: Jesus help me to believe that you are a safe place and protect me always, just like a fort protects someone.
