S: Col. 1:3 "We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ v9 So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you."
O: Paul was always in a spirit of prayer for the churches he wrote to. He mentions in this chapter what he prayed for: encouragement, spiritual understanding, wisdom, strenth, patience, knowledge of his will. He ends the chapter with being having the mighty power of Jesus working in him.
A: Why am I burned out? Because of being prayerless! I am faithful at reading the word, however not working it in with prayer and not asking for God's power to work in me. Not asking to be strengthened in inner man. Not asking for joy.
P: Convicted by Paul today Jesus in that I am trying to push my car around town and not starting the ignition. Jesus, would you strengthen me today. Help me to pray for those under my spiritual care continually...so that I can say, "I have not stopped praying for you". You are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, help me to practice your presence through prayer
