  1. S: 2 Kings 6:16,17 "Don't be afraid!" Elisha told him. "For there are more on our side than on theirs!" Then Elisha prayed, "O Lord , open his eyes and let him see!" The Lord opened the young man's eyes, and when he looked up, he saw that the hillside around Elisha was filled with horses and chariots of fire."

O: Elisha had trapped the soldiers of Aram. There was an unseen world around them that Elisha could see but they couldn't, until he opened their eyes to it. Elisha didn't panic because he knew that God was on their side and had a larger army than those enemies around him. He led the army from Aram to Samaria and then opened their eyes, they became prisoners of war.

A: It takes God's eyes to see the spiritual war around us and the fact that God is on our side waging war for us. We need not panic as God is in control. There are many more on our side than the enemies, we just need to trust in the Lord and rely on Him to do the fighting for us.

P: Jesus, would you open my eyes to how you fight for me? I call on you today to do the fighting for me.
