  1. Title: Safe in the Care of Christ
    Mentor: Jude

S: Jude 1:1 NLT "This letter is from Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and a brother of James. I am writing to all who have been called by God the Father, who loves you and keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ."

O: Jude started this letter with an important point about the love of God. He loves us so much that he puts us under the watch of Jesus and he keeps us from harm. What does it mean that he keeps us from harm (safe)? Obviously believers get hurt. Harm would mean being separated from the love of Christ. Jesus will not allow this to happen.

A: I need to realize that Jesus is watching and caring for me. He knows full well what is happening to me. He is keeping me safe. My perspective on harm needs to change. The truth is that Jesus keeps me from harm, which is one of my biggest fears.

P: Jesus, I thank you for watching over me and protecting me from harm. Your love is far more than I can comprehend. Give me perspective, give me increased capacity to understand your love.
