Title: "They Call Me Most High, but..." Mentor: Hosea
S: Hosea 11:7 NLT "For my people are determined to desert me. They call me the Most High, but they don't truly honor me."
O: Hosea was saying that the Israelites were still proclaiming with their mouths that God was the most important thing in their life and yet living another way. God sees hypocrisy and yet still had compassion on them. Their would be consequences for their disobedience and yet he would bring them "home again". v11
A: Am I just like the Israelites? In what way am I calling God the Most High and then living in a way that dishonors Him?
P: Jesus, I want my words and my actions to be in alignment with you. You are the only one worthy of spending my life on. Convict me of areas that are not in alignment and give me strength to reorient my actions to my words. IJN, Amen
