Phil 4:9 Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
O: Paul was saying there was a connection between applying God's word and God's peace being with you. We are to put into practice God's word. This takes intentionality, it doesn't just happen.
A/P: Lord, help me to know how to put into practice all that you have taught me. Cast all your anxiety on him for he cares for you. Casting and all are big words but I need to put these things into practice.
S: Hebrews 5:8 Even though Jesus was God's Son, he learned obedience from the things he suffered.
O: So combining SOAP notes from this AM, we learn obedience through suffering and then through obedience (applying God's word) we have God's peace. Hmmm....we need to suffer to have peace?
A/P: May I not see suffering as anything other than a way of learning obedience and through this peace.

Correction from this am, it said the God of peace will be with you if you put into practice all these things...
