S: 2 Corinthians 1:4 "He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us."
O: Paul was teaching that there is a reason for suffering, to comfort others with the comfort that God provides during this difficult time. When you see people experiencing difficulties, you can give them the comfort God has given us.
A/P: Jesus, when I am suffering I tend to look inward. Would you help me to see that a reason for suffering is to give the comfort you are giving me to others. Open my eyes to who needs to be comforted around me and then give me your words to comfort with the comfort you have given me.
