  1. 2 Corinthians 12:9 "Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

O: Paul had just defended his apostleship and spoke of hardships. Now he was saying that when you have hardships,, you can take delight in them for when you are suffering or weak, God or Christ can be strong in you.

A: Again, earlier Paul spoke of God's comfort when you suffer so you can comfort others. Now he says when you are weak you are strong because Christ will be strong when you are weak. Hardships and dependence must be seen through different lens.

P: Jesus, I again am reminded that the glasses you want me to wear are much different than the world's. Help me to wear them and then may I experience and appreciate Christ in me.
