  1. S: Phillipians 2:5 "You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had".

O: Paul says you must, not maybe should have but must. He then says you must have the SAME, not similar or almost like but THE SAME! An attitude we must have is Jesus' reaction to "curve balls" and a perspective on life, an attitude the same as.

A: You become like those you are around. If I MUST have the SAME attitude, this is only going to come from more time with and more obedience to Jesus. May it be so.

P: Jesus, I need your help in order to have the SAME attitude you have on things. Give me your attitude as I spend more time with you. Alert me to those areas that I am not obedient in and help me to become more obedient. IJN, Amen

  2. "Jude 1:24 (AMP)
24 Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]— "

O: 1) My God is able (I still get a choice to disobey) 2) I don't need to worry about stumbling, slipping or falling -- if I'm abiding in Christ (still flee sin --but don't need to worry-- because God is able). 3) Jesus wants to present me blameless and faultless -- unblemished. 3) This will be an ecstatic delight for Him
A: I've been worrying about falling into temptation regarding gluttony over Christmas. I need to thank God that he is able to keep me from falling. I need to write this verse down and keep it with me wherever I go, and look at it veering morning first thing and before each meal. My God is able.
    P. Lord, I can't imagine you getting that excited about presenting me to your Father. I also cannot image me being unblemished, except as Christ righteousness is imputed to me. Lord, help me to meditate on this idea today. You are ecstatic with delight . Also lord, I ask that you lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. When I'm tempted today in any area, show me the way of escape. Help me to walk in your spirit all day, and if I swerve off the path, help me to quickly obey. Help me not to stumble, slip or fall today, especially in the area of overeating. Amen
