  1. S: Psalm 5:11 "But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them,
    that all who love your name may be filled with joy."

    O: Those who go to God for safety will praise God with Joyful songs. God will protect them and those who love God's identity will be filled with Joy.

    A: Loving God's name is knowing Him intimately. I want to study God's emotions towards me and this will give me Joy and protection from the evil one.

    P: Jesus, may you give me the ability to understand who you are better and your emotions toward me. As I do this I claim your promises of protection and joy.

  2. "J2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (AMP)
    20 For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.
    21 But it is God Who confirms and makes us steadfast and establishes us [in joint fellowship] with you in Christ, and has consecrated and anointed us [enduing us with the gifts of the Holy Spirit];
    22 [He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise]. "
    O: 1)What finds a yes answer in Christ? The promises of God... not everything we desire.) 2) God confirms and makes us steadfast. (but we are also told to be steadfast., immovable, always abounding...3) God has consecrated us 4) God has anointed us, (we are set apart and gifted by God to do his calling). 5 He's put his seal on us (his mark of ownership. 6) He's given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee (A financial term (Gk. arrabōn, “down payment, deposit, guarantee”) referring to the first installment paid as a pledge of faithfulness to complete the purchase. The Spirit comes as God’s pledge to complete (“pay in full”) the final redemption of his people at the end of the age, and the Spirit’s presence in Christians’ lives now is a reliable “sample” or foretaste of this future fullness ESV Study Bible, The: English Standard Version.

    A: I don’t think about the Holy Spirit that much. I've probably never even thanked God for the Holy Spirit and never thought of Him as a first installment, and a down payment on final redemption. I want to thank God now for giving the Holy spirit as a guarantee, and to meditate on the thoughts of all God has done throughout the day.
    P: Oh Father, forgive me for not realizing the significance you placed on giving us the Holy Spirit. I've thought of things the Holy Spirit does in my life that help me to walk with you better, but never considered Him as a guarantee of final redemption. Lord, I praise you for giving me this indescribable gift and provision for life here on earth. Because of the Holy Spirit, I have all I need inside me right now to follow you today and tomorrow. I have a member of the God head residing in me. How is that possible in this earthen vessel. It is beyond my comprehension that someone that Holy, could dwell in me. I praise you for wisdom. I praise you for not leaving us as orphans. I praise you for all that the Holy Spirit does for us, even when we don't acknowledge these things, or even notice them. I praise you for the blood of Jesus that even made this possible. Amen
