  1. S: Exodus 20:6 But I lavish unfailing love for a thousand generations on thoset who love me and obey my commands. 20 “Don’t be afraid,” Moses answered them, “for God has come in this way to test you, and so that your fear of him will keep you from sinning!”

  2. "Psalm 84:9-11 (NRSV)

10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than live in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; he bestows favor and honor. No good thing does the LORD withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalms 84:12 O Lord of hosts, blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts in You [leaning and believing on You, committing all and confidently looking to You, and that without fear or misgiving]!"
O: 1A day in God's courts (in fellowship with God) is worth more than 1000 others days. 2) God gives light, and protects us. He's on our side and doesn't withhold good things from us. 3) Happy are those who trust you (without fear and misgiving.

A: I am feeling tinges of fear. What is going on in Egypt and Tunisia, and other Arab countries scares me. What does God want me to do today in response to the violence and instability in the mid-east. I need to be praying for the safety and peace, not only for Europe, but also for the many Christians that are in these countries. That God will protect them, that they will be bold to share about Christ, and that many Muslims will come to Christ. Also for the new government that may form, and that Al-kaida type extremists do not control the government. Go to Joel Rosenberg's blog sight to get prayer requests.

    P. God you are the only wise and sovereign God. Right now I don't feel safe. But my safety is based on the fact that I can run to you my strong tower for safety. You are the only one that knows what's going on right now. Lord, I pray for Egypt, Tunisia and many other countries in the Arab world. Lord, I pray that the Christians in these countries would boldly share their faith. I pray that the blinders would come off the non-Christians eyes, and they would see you as the Savior of the World. I pray that the unrest that Satan means for Evil, would result in a major revival in the Arab World. I pray that you would cause those of us outside the Arab World to really press into you in prayer for them, and not to obsess about how unsafe we are. Thank you Jesus for being my shield and strong tower. In Jesus Name, amen
