S: Acts 19:2 "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" he asked them. "No," they replied, "we haven't even heard that there is a Holy Spirit."
O: Paul was at the church in Ephesus and they hadn't heard of the Holy Spirit. They had experienced the baptism of John but not in the name of Jesus. After this, they experienced the Holy Spirit.
A: The Holy Spirit is our helper and He is so available to all who call on the name of Jesus. We must not neglect His presence in our lives. Do I act as though I have never heard of Him or am I well acquainted with Him?
P: Jesus, may I slow down today and not neglect the presence of my helper, my counselor, my comforter. You said that it would be even better if you left this earth because the Holy Spirit would come. May I not neglect His presence in my life today.
