S: Proverbs 19:2 "Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes. 3 People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the Lord."
O: It is easy to let our emotions control our decision making. We can end up making a decision without knowledge because we are so excited about it. In our enthusiasm we make a decision in a hurry and then make a mistake. After making this mistake we blame God for it.
A: I need to slow down on my decision making, and make sure I have all the information I need first. I need to make sure that my emotions are in check before I proceed with the making a final decision. After making the decision I need to take responsibility for it.
P: Jesus, I need your help in decision making. You are the one with the answers, you are the one who can help me with where to go to get more information if I need it. Help me to realize when I am making emotional decisions that I could regret later. Thank you for your guidance and love today.
