  1. Title: "Giving to God Your Greatest Desires"
    Mentor: Hannah

S: 1 Samuel 1:27 I asked the Lord to give me this boy, and he has granted my request.28 Now I am giving him to the Lord , and he will belong to the Lord his whole life." And theys worshiped the Lord there.

O: Hannah had desires to have a child and she said if God would give her a child see would give him back to God. She was giving away her greatest desire. She didn't do this reluctantly, she worshiped as she gave.

A: What do I desire the most in life and have I given this to the Lord? Once God gives me this desire, am I then willing to give it back to God in worship, gratitude?

P: God, you know my greatest desire and I give it to you. However you give it to me, whether it be a yes or a no or wait I worship you as the giver of all things. Give me an open hand with whatever you give me. In Jesus name, Amen

  2. Title: It's a heart issue
    Mentor: Paul

Scripture: 2 Cornithians 7:10 " Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets, but worldly sorrow brings death"

Observation: Paul says that wanting to be right in the eye's of our heavenly father is a wonderful thing. For when we acknowledge the sin that separates us from God and ask for forgiveness, we are free! Sorrow or fear of earthly ways only keeps festering inside of us and separates us from feeling the freedom that comes with repentance within the soul.

Application: See and acknowledge daily my conscious. Clean out my heart of the junk that continues to accumulate. Releasing the sins within my heart to God leads to forgiveness and forgiveness leads to feeling the love and grace from God. His love repairs my soul.

Prayer: Father God, help me to see my faults clearly as to not become a repeat offender. Father today I sit here with a humble heart asking for forgiveness of my pride, jealously, my wicked tongue, coveting, and anger. Reach into my heart and prune out the thorns that are festering and keeping me from feeling and loving you more deeply. I love you!XOXO

  3. Title: Sorrow God Wants
    Mentor: Paul

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 7:10 "For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation..."

Observe: Paul was saying that if we are sorry to God when we sin and not just to man this will lead us away from sin.

Apply: When I'm disobedient I need to be sorry to God and turn away from sin.

Prayer: Dear God, help me when I am disobedient (like not taking a bath tonight) to be sorry to you, so that next time I will be obedient to mom and to you. Amen
