Title: Untroubled by Fear of Harm Divine Mentor: Solomon
S: Proverbs 1:33 But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm." 2:4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. 3:17 She will guide you down delightful paths; all her ways are satisfying.
O: Solomon was pointing out all the benefits of wisdom. If we listen to her, we'll be not anxious about being hurt or uncomfortable. We need to seek after wisdom like a treasure that is lost. If we find wisdom, we'll be directed down a highway that causes us great joy.....we will be satisfied.
A: I need to seek after wisdom in Scripture like hidden treasure and then I will be untroubled and be satisfied as wisdom guides me down the path of life.
P: Jesus, thank you for your comfort, protection and delight as I find wisdom from Scripture. Give me diligence, focus and intensity as I dig for your wisdom in Scripture. May the Holy Spirit point out what I need to learn and implant it in my soul. May I be transformed for your glory!
S: Acts 20:24 "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace."
P: Jesus, help me to finish the race in my life and complete the task you have given to me. First, let me know and understand what your will is for me and my life. Then, help me to pursue that goal.

Title: Listen to Dad, Don't Forget Mom

Scripture: Proverbs 1:8 "My child, listen to your father's teaching and do not forget your mother's advice."
Observe: Solomon was saying to be all ears to what Dad says and to remember what Mom tells me to do.
Apply / Pray: Jesus, would you help me to listen better to Dad and to remember what Mom tells me to do.
