  1. S: Mark 6:51 "Then he climbed into the boat, and the wind stopped. They were totally amazed,"

O: The presence of Jesus calmed the storm. He got into the boat and the wind stopped. It doesn't say in this gospel that he commanded the sea to stop raging, merely his presence calmed the storm.

A: The presence of Jesus is what I need and search for on a daily basis. I search for a better book, a different translation of the Bible to read, a "better church" that will meet my needs, constantly searching for something to calm my discontent. I need the presence of Jesus.

P: Jesus, would you come into my boat and calm the storm around me? You are the one who brings peace. You are the one who says, "do not fear". Thank you for your promise of relationship through faith. I trust in you today.
