S: Mark 8:33 Jesus turned around and looked at his disciples, then reprimanded Peter. “Get away from me, Satan!” he said. “You are seeing things merely from a human point of view, not from God’s.”
O: Jesus was explaining to his disciples about the way he would die. Peter reprimanded Jesus and Jesus then gave Peter a talking to by saying you are looking at things the way a man does and this is of Satan.
A: If I am looking at life through the lens of man and not God, I'm allowing Satan to have influence in my life. When a difficult situation comes to me in life, I have two ways to look at it; horizontally, the way man would look at it and secondly, God lens which sees the things of this world through his vision.
P: Jesus, would you allow me to see my circumstances through your lens and not my own selfish lens. Give me your vision for the lost and your kingdom.
