S: Job 37:13 "He makes these things happen either to punish people or to show his unfailing love.14 “Pay attention to this, Job. Stop and consider the wonderful miracles of God."
O: Elihu reminds Job of God's power and why he puts his power on display. He says that it is so that we might see his unfailing love but we must STOP and consider the wonderful miracles of God. We have to push the pause button in life in order to appreciate what God has done and is doing.
A: A friend of ours had surgery 4 days ago. The surgeon said he always removes the appendix but didn't realize there was a tumor on the appendix that could have spread if not removed. It was an incidental finding, but God was putting His power on display to show his unfailing love.
P: Jesus we worship you today as the all sovereign. You have numbered our days but one thing is sure, you want to put your power and majesty on display for all to see. May we stop to consider and then may we tell of your greatness.
