S: 1 Corinthian 13:7 "Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. THE MESSAGE
O: Paul was in context speaking of spiritual gifts, especially tongues and prophecy. He then moves into saying it is that you can have all spiritual gifts and yet not have love it is meaningless. So he defines what love is. Part of love is being hopeful and not looking toward past hurts. It is persevering and looks for the best not the worst.
A: Verse 7 is most convicting for me. "Always looks for the best,Never looks back." My example of love is always looks back and never looks for the best.
P: Jesus, I need your help and then I need to change my countenance in love. May I look for the best and not look back to past hurts. Remind me today when I do this and with your power and love, enable me to move forward in your love.
