S: Leviticus 26:44 “But despite all this, I will not utterly reject or despise them while they are in exile in the land of their enemies. I will not cancel my covenant with them by wiping them out, for I am the Lord their God.
O: Even when God's chosen people are not obedient, He is faithful to His promises. His covenant is part of who God is, he cannot or will not cancel it by destroying His people. Because He is their Lord, He will keep His covenant.
A: While this is the old covenant, God's new covenant still reveals His faithfulness. God will be with us and will discipline us if necessary as He did in Leviticus. When I am unfaithful to God, I must remember He is faithful to me.
P: Jesus, may I meditate today on your faithfulness to me. The Holy Spirit resides in me today and you convict of sin and discipline me when necessary. May I see you as loving today and drawing me to yourself.
