  1. Title: The Power and Protection of Jesus

S: Hebrews 13:6 "So we can say with confidence,"The Lord is my helper,so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?" 21 may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you,s
through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen"

O: Jesus is held up high as our protector, I will have no fear, what can man do to me? and secondly the power of Jesus would produce things that are good and pleasing to Jesus.

A: I need to, during the day, realize it is a battle between self sufficiency and Jesus sufficiency. Between trying to pull up my boot straps and simply asking Jesus to protect and empower me. Jesus is willing, all I need to do is ask.

P: Probably one of my difficult days and I tried to do it all on my own strength. Jesus I confess this is not your plan for my life. I depend on you to protect and empower me to live the life you designed for me. IJN, Amen

  2. Title: Sins of our Fathers
    Mentor: Micah

S: Micah 1:16 "Shave your heads in morning for the children in whom you delight; make yourselves as bald as the vulture, for they will go from you into exile."

O: There are lasting consequences to disobedience. Israel and Judah would go into captivity it appears the parents would be separated from their joy and their delight...their children.

A: My walking in obedience goes way beyond my own personal relationship and walk with God. My choices, godly or ungodly have direct consequences on my children (and spiritually on my spiritual children). My goal is 2 Cor. 10:5 "Take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ." Godly actions will follow.

P: God give me a heart that doesn't seek rebellion. That seeks flesh instead of stone. A heart the readily yields to you. Let me not forget that my life is not my own.
